A number of people have said to me over the last couple of years that there is not much for young people to do in Sharnbrook or the surrounding villages. There are Scouts and Guides of course and the schools have after school activities but apart from that what is there for the youngsters?

So we are trying to set up a Youth Group. And we are a long way towards success. Driven and championed by Reverand Paolo Di Leo, Rural Missions have funded the investigation and research under the very capable leadership of Rebecca Caird. 

Rebecca and Paolo have set up a stall at the Church Gate over a number of weeks and spoken to more than a hundred children as they walk home from school. The results would amaze you. The plan is that the whole thing will be driven by the children and they make the decisions regarding what they do, how it all runs and so on.

Although there is still a way to go and we are now looking into the finance options, I am confident we will make his happen.
